Cruzando Caminos

This text was projected onto the sidewalk between Counterpath and the buses from El Paisano as part of the opening for an exhibition about immigration. The words in the text were taken directly from interviews with people standing on the very sidewalk where it is projected. In this manner, intends to give a voice to an area where the voices are not always heard. The art installation involved three videos and several poster-sized black and white images.

Passing Time

Passing Time is a simple installation intended to create an intersection between the Quaker, Jewish and Zen Buddhist faiths. The video was shot on the location of the Quaker Meeting House frequented by President Herbert Hoover when he was a boy in West Branch, Iowa. ​
