"Small Secrets" is a horror film, domestic nature documentary, reality show and experimental slice of life/death all wrapped up in one minute. The roles of villain and victim are called into question during this nocturnal video, which was completely shot in the dark.
Fixtures explores the notion that distorted versions of self are put together and reflected back in all one encounters. This manifests as an effort to articulate who one’s self is because our notions of self are a collection of incomplete distorted perceptions/reflections we receive. The piece follows a loose narrative in which various interpretations are intended and valid.
